Maggie Lidz lectures on Chateau Country

Hagley welcomes Maggie Lidz, author of The du Ponts: Houses and Gardens in the Brandywine, 1900-1951. Lidz will discuss her research of the places that earned the Brandywine Valley the nickname “Chateau Country.” Included are Hagley, Winterthur, Nemours and others. The lecture will be held in the Copeland Room at the Hagley Library, and will be followed by a Q&A session, book purchases and signing by the author. Use Buck Road entrance off of route 100.
