Singer-songwriter Kristan Leontiou was already an established UK Top 10 charter, when he started the imaginitive and animated band One eskimO. Teaming up with Gravy Media, One eskimO produced two short films to accompany several of their music tracks, and the videos were an instant hit, receiving honors at film festivals. The band also won the hugely-coveted Public Choice Best Music Video at the British Animation Awards for the song "Hometime" in 2008.

While One eskimO's idiosyncratic self-visualization and animation may be a striking element of the project, it is their incredibly expressive music that brings their characters to life. Their inventive musical style is colorfully emotional, touching upon relatable themes of love, success and failure. The band's self-titled debut album also comes with a full-length animation - a testament of their musical and artistic vision.
