CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

Open-Role Tango
December 3, 2009-June 10, 2010
Tango is celebrated as one of the most beautiful, sensual, intimate, and complex of all social dances. Join the burgeoning queer tango movement where people dance with whom they please, unconfined by strict gender roles. This class focuses on tango as a physical outlet for artistry, emotion, and desire; stresses interpersonal connection and communication; and can help build confidence, flexibility, and new relationships. Participants will be grounded in tango basics while touching upon dynamics unique to queer tango. No partner necessary.
