    Although the Bride has been bending genres for forty years, they recognize that there’s a lot of artistic territory out there that they don’t cover. And there are many artists in Philadelphia and beyond who get few chances to display their remarkable gifts to the world. Locally, there are seldom platforms to showcase those incredibly rare individuals (or groups) that defy category, yet inspire awe nonetheless. In the new series, Atypical, Painted Bride is working with co-curators who have their fingers on the pulse of the next big thing and putting them on the Bride’s stage.
