“Remembering Grover Washington, Jr.,” featuring the Gerald Veasley Band and special guest saxophonist Eric Darius, will perform Friday, Dec. 11, at 7:30 pm, in the Miller Center for the Arts on the campus of Reading Area Community College at Second and Washington streets, Reading. The late Grover Washington, Jr., of Philadelphia, was a special friend of the Berks Jazz Fest and a pioneer of contemporary jazz. December will mark the 10th anniversary of his passing, and we are honoring his memory with this special concert featuring his classic hits and music from his highly acclaimed holiday CD Breath of Heaven.
