Part of the National Constitution Center’s Majestic Winter Wonderland celebration includes a Gingerbread White House Contest for children 14 and under. Each year, White House pastry chefs display a decadent Gingerbread White House in the State Dining Room to celebrate the winter season. The Center invites local children to show off their talents and create their own version of this White House tradition for our contest to find the region’s best homemade Gingerbread White House. In conjunction with the Diana: A Celebration exhibition, participants can also submit a gingerbread replica of Buckingham Palace.

  The theater show that begins your visit runs twice each hour.
  Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day
