Haverford College is proud to present the East Coast premiere of Running the Numbers: An American Self-Portrait, featuring the large-scale photography of internationally acclaimed artist Chris Jordan. Exploring the detritus of American mass culture, Jordan's photographs depict staggering statistics through intricately detailed panels as large as thirty feet in width. These huge works invite the viewer to walk up close and contemplate the crucial role of the individual in our consumer society.
