    Slo-Mo is the brainchild of Philadelphia steel guitarist Mike "Slo-Mo" Brenner. Brenner has spent time on the road and in the studio playing steel guitar with such bands as Marah, Magnolia Electric Company and Badly Drawn Boy, but Slo-Mo featuring Mic Wrecka is something totally different. Slo-Mo featuring Mic Wrecka combines Brenner's lap steel-driven grooves and the hip hop poetry of frontman Mic Wrecka. Backed by a tight and funky band and singers Sue Rosetti and Steph Hayes (from Stargazer Lily), Brenner and Wrecka effortlessly meld genres, creating a steel guitar/hip-hop hybrid unlike anything you’ve ever heard.
