Experience the mirth of an 18th century Christmas at the Mill at Anselma! The Mill, decked out in its holiday splendor, will enchant visitors to take part in an old-fashioned winter extravaganza, including gingerbread, wreath-and craft-making, and letter-writing to Santa! Taste cookies and treats made with Anselma’s own stone-ground flour, and help our miller sift his winter grains while the scent of fresh-ground cornmeal reminds you of days long past. Holiday Wonderland includes a special flour milling demonstration in our historic grist mill. The Mill at Anselma (c. 1747) served its local agricultural community for three centuries and is considered the most complete example of a Colonial-era custom grist mill in the United States. Now restored and recognized as a National Historic Landmark, the Mill at Anselma provides a powerful educational resource, allowing visitors to experience Chester County’s industrial and agricultural past through flour milling demonstrations, tours of the site and hands-on family activities. Admission to the Mill at Anselma for Holiday Wonderland is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, and $3 for children. The Mill at Anselma is located on Rt. 401 (Conestoga Road), ½ mile west of Rt. 113 in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania.
