Zydeco-A-Go-Go, the area's premier practitioners of Louisiana dance music, is bringing a Mardi Gras zydeco party to the people! Founded in 1992 and based in Philadelphia, the group boasts colorful personnel with decades of experience: bandleader Pete Eshelman on accordion, piano and vocals, Billy Baltera on guitar, Carl Crabtree on sax, Bob Holden on drums, and Lenny Fatigati on bass. Nicely rounding out the group is Pamela Eshelman, who keeps time on the rub board, and brings her sweet and soulful voice and contagious onstage enthusiasm to the proceedings. With their blend of Cajun two-steps, funky New Orleans rhythm & blues, swinging Louisiana rock & roll, and 40's jump-blues swing, the band lives up to their motto: "Let the good times roll."
