Review/Comment
The Glitter City Gala is the most visible, well-attended, and fun New Year's Eve event in Philadelphia. It has been a sold out event for the last six years allowing over 1800 guests to "dress up, get down and ring in the New Year right" each year! The National Constitution Center provides the perfect backdrop for the night's festivities. The space is beautiful, featuring specialty bars and gorgeous lighting. It also offers an outstanding view of the fireworks at midnight. One thing is for sure... if you wait to buy tickets, you will not get them.

2 VIP tickets were purchased for this event and all the expectations we had going into this left us bitterly disappointed. The VIP area is small, the "Specialty" Martini and Marghertia Bars that were offered were combined and included your choice of either gold or silver tequila, nothing more. The "Upgrade" in food included a ceasar salad and carved beef but only if you ate before 11pm, when all of the food was put away for the night. This was so plastic cups of champagne could be served at midnight. There was no view for fireworks from the bottom floor VIP area, the dance floor was small with music playing from a recording. There was limited seating, and the Specialty Pasta station included your choice of cheese tortellini or pasta with vodka sauce. The "Premium" alcohol included grey goose and jack daniels, if you asked for it, not to mention general admission got you the same Jack Daniels. It took 10 minutes to get one drink from the VIP area. I could go on, etc.. NOT WORTH IT Collapse
