Immerse yourself in music and art created during the tumultuous final decade of the twentieth century. The New School Institute of Temple University’s Boyer College of Music and Dance performs in the gallery. This music series is presented in conjunction with the exhibition Notations: The Closing Decade, and explores the diverse ways in which composers and artists responded to the global social, political, and cultural events of the period. Faculty, students, and alumni from Boyer College will perform chamber music works, including digital compositions. Accompanied by illuminating commentary by composer Richard Brodhead, Executive Director of The New School Institute. Not recommended for children under seven.
