This is a Dickens-themed event complete with street musicians, carolers and performers, horse and carriage rides, and more. There's a scavenger hunt for the children which will send them searching high and low for Ebeneezer Scrooge and all the characters from A Christmas Carol in order to win a prize. The 2008 prize was a top hat that was worn all afternoon by hundreds of kids throughout Narberth’s version of 1840’s London. Period-appropriate vendors help set the tone, and the local establishments each offer their own version of a "hot toddy" to keep grown-ups warm as they follow their kids through the streets searching for Scrooge, Marley, Tiny Tim, and the rest of the costumed performers. To help with the event, participate as a vendor or performer, or for more information, visit the official website.
