The Kennett Symphony of Chester County opens their 69th season with a Bicentennial Tribute to Felix Mendelssohn. Born in 1809 in Hamburg, Germany, Mendelssohn was dubbed the “Mozart of the 19th Century”. On October 10th, the Kennett Symphony performs excerpts from A Midsummer's Night Dream, his 4th Symphony in A, the "Italian", and Chester County's own piano prodigy, Daniel Song, will play Mendelssohn's First Piano Concerto.
