    Truvy and the gang are back again with all the wit, sass, and Louisiana charm that have made them favorites of the American stage. In Truvy's salon, sharp-tongued Ouiser spars with lifelong friend Clairee, Annelle finds liberation... and God, and M'Lynn and her only daughter, Shelby, share the experiences of growing up, moving on, and finally letting go. As the play moves through the lives of these women, their inner selves shine through the antic banter of small-town beauty shop gossip and they reveal a collaborative strength that celebrates the bonds of friendship and the renewing cycle of life. Steel Magnolias is a comedy with an impossibly big heart for those who share Truvy’s sentiment: "Laughter through tears is my favorite emotion!"
