Ten years into a dynamic career marked by seven LPs, two EPs and a live concert album, Erin McKeown delivers Hundreds of Lions next month, her first collection of original songs since 2005's We Will Become Like Birds.

Erin McKeown's vibrant mix of pop, swing, rock, folk and electronic may make it difficult to box her into one musical category, but it's without question that over the last ten years she has brought undying optimism to her audience. The dynamic multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter began writing songs at an early age, and by the time she graduated from Brown University, she had released her first two albums.

Hundreds of Lions has been described as optimistic and inventive. Like much of her previous work, the album continues to exhibit McKeown's bright soprano vocals and brilliant folk pop instrumentals.
