9/25 Intro to aerial dance: Dance without gravity and feel the joy of weightlessness! Will also learn to run on walls, do back flips, front flips and much more. 9/26 Duets in the air: Soar together while developing aerial duet choreography. Spinning around each other at ridiculous speeds and finding the right lines to make it beautiful as well! You do not need to bring a partner. 9/27 Aerial choreography with hand loops: Create your own piece on the ground and in the air. You will dive into character development, and new heights- both literally and figuratively! Should have previous experience as a mover and want to create new work-either solo or ensemble. Workshops led by New York's Karen Fuhrman, founder of Grounded Aerial and veteran of Pilobolus and MOMIX.
