Special Co-Presentation with First Person Arts Festival William, Kunstler: famed radical lawyer, defender of the undefended, honored, reviled, and controversial even to his daughters, Emily and Sarah, who made the film, and the subject of this compelling portrait of a major player in US social history. From rapists to assassins, from the Chicago 10 to the Wounded Knee Native Americans, almost no disreputable or lost cause escaped his vigilance. Small wonder that the New York Times called him the "most hated and most loved lawyer in America."
