Silent Hunters of the Night Owls have an amazing ability to hunt swiftly, accurately, and silently in the dead of night. Learn about the owls of the area through a short slide show, mounts, pellets, and mounts. Participants will also have the opportunity to see a Great Horned Owl and a Screech Owl from the John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove.  The walk will conclude with a moonlit walk through the meadow to the forest edge, with the guide calling in Pennsylvania's Eastern Screech Owl, the nighttime hunter you are most likely to see and hear this time of the year. Instructor: Jay Erb, CCPRD staff.
