... and he died with a hammer in his hand. The legend of John Henry and his contest against a steam drill resonates through history echoing issues of racial injustice and the working man against technology. Iron Age Theatre brings a new play by local playwright, Chris Braak, to the Centre Theater with their characteristic force and intensity to retell the story behind the legend of the steel driving man.

    An Iron Age Theater production.
