A New Zealand expression for daring and bravery, Black Grace truly is unique in the world of dance. Founded in 1995 by choreographer Neil Ieremia, this all-male dance troupe fuses Pacific traditional cultures with the athleticism of contemporary dance. Program will include Minoi, showcasing Samoan slap dancing and singing; Surface, which traces the masculine traditions of the Samoan culture; and a new work for this tour, Gathering Clouds.
