The Curtis Opera Theatre celebrates the Samuel Barber centenary with the love story of the ages: Marc Antony and Cleopatra weave their way through deception, political intrigue, and passions as hot as the sands of Egypt. This fully staged production with the Curtis Symphony Orchestra, is sung in the original English. Antony and Cleopatra by Samuel Barber is presented by Kimmel Center Presents in association with the Opera Company of Philadelphia. George Manahan, conductor; Chas Rader-Shieber, stage director.
