Join us at the Scott Arboretum’s Fall Festival as Jacqueline van der Kloet brings alive her design approach through abundant visuals and detailed practical explanation. She'll address spring, summer and fall seasons by showing how to make combinations for private gardens and public sites, in garden beds, naturalized areas, and containers. She will elaborate on how she achieves her signature design mixes. Gain from her years of experimentation as she shows how to re-think plant combinations ranging in style from simple to more complicated, straight-forward to highly sophisticated. Plant lists will be provided. Jacqueline van der Kloet of Weesp, Netherlands, is known for stylish, eclectic designs with inspired plantings of perennials and flower bulbs. Her gardens have a relaxed random feel that belies the artistry behind her plant placement. Her mixes of bulbs, and bulbs mixed with perennials, annuals and flowering shrubs are called pure genius by landscape professionals in her home country and abroad.
