LECTURES & LITERATURE

An Evening With Explorer Richard Wiese
September 24, 2009
Living an active, nature-filled life in today's stress-filled society can be challenging but totally rewarding. Richard Wiese, author of Born to Explore: How To Be a Backyard Adventurer, has lived this life and will share his experiences and helpful hints, such as how to navigate by the stars and build a fire without matches. Wiese is an Emmy Award-winning journalist, TV host, naturalist, mountain climber and former president of the Explorers Club. He will sign copies of his book, which will be available to purchase, following his presentation.
