    Sri Subhajyoti Guha, a highly talented, young tabla player from Kolkata, India, is one of the new genre of tabla exponents who are taking this world pleasing North Indian percussion instrument to greater heights in the 21st century. Tabla Workshop with Subhajyoti, for Intermediate and Advanced Students of Tabla. 1. No beginners. More advanced tabla will be taught. Students will be able to learn and play material at the workshop. 2. Open to other non-tabla musicians who want to understand the complex rhythm patterns and calculations of Hindustani classical music. 3. Will divide it into 3 portions as necessary: a) for tabla students only, b) for other musicians, and c) for questions and answers. 4. Duration - 3 hrs with a small 15 min break in between. 5. Students should bring their own tabla.
