The Washington Post has described Philadelphia Baroque Orchestra Tempesta di Mare as having "the energy of a rock solo with the craft of a classical cadenza." The group will devote its 2009-2010 season to performing the entire collection of J.S. Bach's famed Brandenburg Concertos alongside works by composers from within Bach's circle and influences from earlier generations. The Tempesta di Mare Chamber Players present The Chamber Concerto: a free Open Doors concert featuring Bach's Brandenburg V harpsichord concerto and works by Pachelbel, Telemann, Fasch and Graupner.
