Award-winning cinematographer Sandy Mortimer and her unique camerawork bring segments of Egypt’s 5,000 years of human history to the Sykes Theater stage. In addition to the rich splendor of the past, Ms. Mortimer brings the intricate tapestry of present-day Egyptian life on the streets. We’ll meet a variety of people-- a very modern Egyptian woman, a Bedouin. We’ll visit the Aswan High Dam, a traditional wedding, and a camel market. Join us for the fascinating ancient, and the still fascinating modern!
