Warriors of the Wonderful Sound Inc., will present as part of Montgomery County Community Colleges's Lively Arts series, "The Wizards of the Saxophone Meet the Warriors of the Wonderful Sound: Creating a 21st Century Jazz Vocabulary". WWS will commission composer/alto saxophonist world music innovator, Rudresh Mahanthappa to compose a piece for,"Bobby Zankel and the Warriors of the Wonderful Sound", the world class Philadelphia based 15 member big band and present an evening long composer portrait
