They’re back! Those naughty, but chichi Americans in Paris where anything goes, and probably does in this age of sophistication, style and conspicuous overstepping of social boundaries! Following the resounding success of last year’s Americans in Paris concert, the sequel features the extraordinary Lidia Kaminska making her long-awaited debut with the Classical Symphony as accordionist in Gershwin’s popular Rhapsody in Blue.  Return to the roaring 20’s when American musicians, poets, writers and authors flocked to Paris for equal parts chic and verve. From the impressionistic sweep of Griffes, to the jazzy swagger of Gershwin, with fascinating left bank visits to Gruenberg and Bowles, Rhapsody in Paris will transport you to a world of fashionable ecstasy.
