In 1962, a newspaper editor and his new wife move into an apartment in Hong Kong on the same day as a young secretary and her executive husband. Suspecting their respective spouses of extra-marital affairs, the new neighbors strike up a romance of their own that twists and turns for years. Critically acclaimed, this stylish film won numerous awards including Best Actor for Tony Leung at Cannes.
