Now in its third year, this award-winning series presents the music of pioneers, patriots, clerics and cowboys: all part of America’s vast musical landscape. Revel in the homespun elegance of Johann Peter’s Symphony, David Diamond’s irrepressible Rounds, the playful twitches and turns of Mark O’Connor’s Strings and Threads, and the world premier of Maurice Wright’s new American Indian-themed work. An immensely colorful canvas.

John Frederick Peter- Symphony in D (arr. From Quintet in D by Karl Middleman)
    Mark O’Connor – Appalachian Waltz
Maurice Wright – American Indian themed commission
    David Diamond – Rounds

Featuring Mark O’Connor - Strings and Threads and Hirono Oka, violin soloist.
