Bring family, friends, a blanket, and a picnic supper for a delightful evening under the stars at Independence Seaport Museum's "Seaport Starlight Cinema" outdoor amphitheater. Enjoy a "reel extravaganza" of old-time Popeye cartoon favorites with fun-packed intermissions between cartoons of hands-on activities, trivia contests (with mini "Oscar" awards), and give-aways. Kids will love the cartoon action and Moms and Dads will enjoy the trip down memory lane! FREE popcorn and "movie star" necklaces for all! Doors open at 7 pm and movie begins at sunset. The Seaport's new exhibit, "Skin & Bones -- Tattoos in the Life of the American Sailor" will remain open for pre-movie tours -- see if you can spot Popeye and his famous anchor tattoos in the exhibit! (In inclement weather, movie will be shown in the Seaport's Concert Hall).
