Pond Tour

Visit 20 different beautiful, privately-owned ponds throughout Bucks County on two mid-summer Sundays. Participants will have the opportunity to meet new people, ask questions about how to make a backyard oasis, and enjoy a close look at the creativity and artistic expression of some of the best gardeners. The Tours begin at Silver Lake Nature Center’s own ponds. With directions in hand, participants begin their journey in their own car. Traveling at their own pace from site to site. Pond owners—our hosts—will welcome all and answer any questions they might have. Light refreshments offered by each homeowner provide a respite from the heat.
