May 9, 2010
Ensemble ACJW is made up of Fellows of the Academy - a program of Carnegie Hall, the Juilliard School and the Weill Music Insitute in partnership with the New York City Department of Education. The group's only Philadelphia appearance features Pulitzer Prize winning composer John Adams conducting his "Son of Chamber Symphony" and the New York pianist Jeremy Denk joining the group for a performance of Stravinsky's "Concerto for Piano and Winds".
