XPN Welcomes Paul Cebar Tomorrow Sound
August 27, 2009
“Jubilant, percussive...full-on, pan-ethnic party music” says the Washington Post of the newest CD from this singer, songwriter, band leader from Wisconsin. Cebar is known for his own brand of eclectic, always dance-able music which he describes as "an elaborately funky, soulful feast of language and tone.” Four years ago Cebar changed the band’s name from The Milwaukeeans to Tomorrow Music to reflect his current love affair with African, Latin, Caribbean, reggae, zydeco, R&B and soul styles. As one fan puts it, “He is one FUNKY white boy! If you wanna dance your butt off all night, don't miss him...”
