    Mark Your Calendars for Zoobilee! The Philadelphia Zoo is pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale for the Zoo's largest fundraiser of the year - Zoobilee 2009: Birds in Paradise - taking place at the Zoo on Thursday, June 11. The 35th Annual Zoobilee, one of the longest-running fundraising events in Philadelphia, is one of the best social events of the season. Proceeds from Zoobilee 2009 go to the care and feeding of the Philadelphia Zoo's over 1,300 animals from around the world, many rare and endangered. Zoobilee 2009: Birds in Paradise will allow guests to mix and mingle with the area's top leaders and tastemakers while sampling the best in fine cuisine from the region's premier restaurants. Zoobilee 2009 will offer two ways to participate: an exclusive Zoobilee Dinner beginning at 5:30 pm (prepared by Zoobilee 2009 Celebrity Chef Georges Perrier) or the celebrated Zoobilee Party beginning at 7:30 pm.Both options offer great food and entertainment in paradise. At 9 pm, Zoobilee guests can enjoy the Water & Light Fantasy, a spectacular show choreographed to music and performed over the Zoo's Bird Lake.
