Golden Age
January 22-February 14, 2010
Tony Award-winning playwright Terrence McNally explores the beautiful and passionate world of opera with Golden Age, set backstage at the 1835 Paris premiere of Vincenzo Bellini's final opera. McNally's Master Class, which moved on to unparalleled critical acclaim on Broadway, also had its world premiere at PTC. Golden Age will transfer to the Kennedy Center as the centerpiece of the "McNally Opera Festival" immediately following its run at PTC.
