    The next installment of the Classic Play Reading series welcomes company members of Shakespeare in Clark Park for a reading of Paula Vogel’s Desdemona: A Play About a Handkerchief at the Art Alliance. Actresses Kristyn Chouiniere, Mary Beth Scallen, and Jess Conda as well as director Maria Moller will participate in a talkback following the performance, as the Art Alliance happily collaborates with another critically acclaimed Philadelphia theatre company that shares their emphasis on combining artistic excellence with increased accessibility. This event is free and open to the public, and the Art Alliance will be offering extended gallery hours for the current exhibitions, Stanley Lechtzin – 5 Decades, and, rEvolution: 105 Years of Teaching Jewelry and Metalsmithing at the University of the Arts, on display from May 14th to July 26th, 2009.
