Nikki Giovanni and Carlos Gomez: Spoken Word Performance

Poets Nikki Giovanni and Carlos Andres Gomez will perform spoken word to benefit the Open Mind for Africa fund in Honor of Dr. Louise Shoemaker. The Excelano Project, a group of spoken word performers from UPenn, and Penn African Performing Arts will be performing as well.
Open Mind for Africa sponsors student travel to Africa to engage in service work, building on the Christian Association's tradition of international service and motto of promoting open minds and working faith.
