Did you know that the only official presidential portrait not made by an American artist was completed by Anders Zorn. Zorn in America is the subject of an engaging talk by author Willow Hagans who, along with husband William, recently released a book by the same name. The book and talk explore the time that Anders Zorn, the illustrious Swedish artist, spent in America between 1893 and 1911, painting and etching over one hundred prominent Americans including Grover Cleveland, William Taft, Theodore Roosevelt, and Andrew Carnegie. Books will be available for purchase and signing. The lecture will be followed by a salmon lunch.
