In 2007, lead singer and lyricist, John Volz, invited four friends to join forces to form what is emerging as one of South Jersey's musical powerhouses. With a resume that includes numerous albums, radio play, full time touring and thousands of concerts nationally and overseas, Negative Split is primed, ready and able to give their audiences what they expect - a show of musical excellence and lyrical integrity.

The Negative Split boys all reside in South Jersey and are plugged in and accountable to Sovereign Grace Church in Cherry Hill. These guys love God; they love their families; they love their church. Reilly made their debut on the Philadelphia music scene almost seven years ago. Originally having a more "symphonic rock" sound, they have moved toward edgier alternative-rock - a change their fans love. Reilly's songs are lyrically rich and carry a personal message of the joys and struggles of faith in God.
