Gray Panthers tells the nearly forty-year story of this intergenerational grassroots movement, founded in 1970 by Philadelphian Maggie Kuhn. Author Roger Sanjek examines the inner workings and dynamics of the movement that emerged, drawing from the groups archives, interviews, and his personal involvement over the course of thirty years.
