CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

Coming up Roses!
March 9, 2013
Early spring is the time to get your roses ready for a season full of blooms. If you are curious about spring pruning, want some one-on-one guidance, or are new to rose gardening, join us for an informative spring rose care workshop. We will provide an overview of pruning, planting, transplanting, fertilizing, and composting. We will then walk to the Rose Garden for a pruning demonstration. You will have the opportunity to do some hands on pruning and learn pruning techniques that you can apply to your own roses. Be sure to dress warmly, bring your hand pruners and gardening gloves, and be prepared to get your knees dirty. Due to the individual attention, class size is limited.
