Turtle Story Time

Adventure Aquarium welcomes local writer Donna M. Zappala for live readings of her children’s book “What Kind of Turtle Am I?” An Epic Trophy Winner for Best Children’s Book of 2012, “What Kind of Turtle Am I?” is the story of little Izzy, who is on a quest to figure out just what kind of turtle she is. Is she a turtle, a tortoise or a terrapin? She asks every animal she can find, but will anyone be able to answer her question?
In addition to story time with Mrs. Zappala, each event session includes interactive elements and a hands-on craft activity. Copies of the book will be available for sale during the event, and Mrs. Zappala will be signing copies after each session. Space is limited, and attendance is first come/first serve. Doors open 10 minutes before start time.
