 The Peek-A-Boo Revue’s It’s A Wonderful Christmas Carol Story is coming! Philadelphia’s premier neo-burlesque show is bringing something new to the table for this year’s holiday extravaganza with their very own Peek-A-Boo Revuesical. The most familiar holiday special you’ve never seen is set to be unveiled on December 15th at The Trocadero, and December 16th at World Cafe Live.

Peek-A-Boo is mashing up their burly-q stripteases, songs, and comedic madness with everyone's favorite classic holiday films. This mastodon of a show will feature original pieces from musical director Rich “Dick Van Whailin” Hill and writer/composer/former musical director Kevin “Buzz Mouthpiece” Bagby. The Boo’s very own nine piece band, the Striptease Orchestra, will bring the music to life as the chorus girls take it off during brand new group dance numbers and solo stripteases. The ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet To Come have never been sexier!

“After winning ‘Best Group’ at Burlesque Hall Of Fame in Las Vegas and a prosperous year, I wanted to push the boundaries of burlesque,” Dick Van Wailin said about It’s A Wonderful Christmas Carol Story. He went on to add, “Buzz Mouthpiece and I brainstormed over three weeks in the dark corner of an Old City bar and soon began composing the music and lyrics to our ambitious project. We mixed up the characters and plots (from the holiday tales) to create an original take. While there is an overall plot to the show, there is still just as much bumping, grinding, and vaudevillian humor as ever.”

The Peek-A-Boo Revue is rounding off their 14th year of entertainment in Philadelphia and beyond. They strive keep their audiences laughing and titillated with every show. The troupe takes pride in keeping the art of burlesque and cabaret alive through their classic and neo creations.
