2013 WitOut Awards for Philadelphia Comedy

The 2013 WitOut Awards for Philadelphia Comedy, sponsored by Philly Improv Theater and Narragansett Brewing Company, will be held at World Cafe Live on Sunday, January 13th at 6pm. The show promotes and celebrates Philadelphia comedy while at the same time parodying and poking fun at traditional entertainment awards shows.
This year’s show will be hosted by Philadelphia-based improv duo Grimacchio (Jason Grimley and Ralph Andracchio), known best for their Fringe Festival production of The Grimacchio Variety Hour. Grimacchio will be joined onstage by live band Philly Slick, Samantha Brown and The Grimacchio Dancers, and local comedians serving as presenters for each of the 13 awards categories. Pre-show festivities will include red carpet photography by Tom Lovelund, and an after-party will be held in the venue immediately following the show.
Tickets to the show and after-party will be on sale online via World Cafe Live. All tickets include free admission to the after-party among other things!
Voting is open to the public! Online voting to determine the winners will be open to the public from December 10th-21st. To vote, visit WitOut.net.
