    John Doyle
    John & Kira’s Chocolates

There are few foods that people feel as passionate about as chocolate. For the true chocoholic, just thinking about chocolate can evoke a pleasurable response. Pairing chocolate with wine makes for a delicious tasting event. Please join us as we sample a variety of chocolates with wines that are especially selected to complement each different chocolate. The chocolates are created by the Philadelphia gourmet chocolate making company, John & Kira’s. John & Kira’s is a socially innovative chocolate company. They make and sell chocolate using ingredients from small family producers and urban gardens. During the tasting, John Doyle will discuss the chocolates – how taste varies depending on where the cocoa beans come from, how to best pair chocolate with wine, and how fresh garden herbs are used in the company’s recipes.
