    This class is a half-day overview devoted to using permaculture design to help homeowners create a low-maintenance, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable landscape. Participants will learn how to begin creating a long term plan for a functional and productive landscape, one that takes care of people and the environment at the same time! Specific skills and strategies used to create a productive and resilient landscape that is characterized but multifunctional elements like edible, medicinal, and other useful yet beautiful plantings will be discussed and demonstrated. Start planning now for a beautiful, delicious, low-maintenance landscape this spring! Please bring a hand-drawn base map of the site you wish to design.
