    Dr. Elaine Ingham
    Chief Scientist, Rodale Institute

    In this day-long seminar Dr. Ingham will review the soil food web and the role that each organism plays in healthy soil. Participants will gain knowledge of the important role bacteria and mycorrhizal fungi play in soil chemistry and you will learn how compost and compost teas can be used to improve our soils and the health of the plants that grow in them. Dr. Ingham is a soil biology researcher, founder of Soil Food Web, Inc., and the author of the USDA’s Soil Biology Primer. She is recognized as a world leader in soil microbiology.
    This course carries 5.5 CEUs for ISA certified arborists and 6 CEUs for PA landscape architects.
