The Overbrook Monarchs will host their Annual Community Day event on September 1st, 2012, from 10 am-6 pm at the Granahan Recreation Center, located at 6500 Callowhill Street. In celebration of this football season kick off, the Organization will extend camaraderie and support to the community by providing a series of activities and resources. Activities will include a free legal aid clinic (hosted by the Pennsylvania Bar Association, health screenings (provided by Keystone Mercy), arts and crafts activities (hosted by Home Depot), games (hosted by Modell’s Sporting Goods), face painting, moonbounce, dunk tank, football games, fitness expo, dog training demonstration, raffles, giveaways, and more. The legal aid clinic will cover topics regarding family law, voter identification, senior law, adult and youth expungements, estate planning, foreclosure/bankruptcy, and welfare assistance. It’s going to be an informative and supportive day of fun, food, and games!
